I have just booked the Royal Plaza Hotel and Disney Hollywood Hotel in Aug - Sep.

Hopefully by then the scarlet fever will be die down.

Do try to observe the situation and maybe understand a bit more about the virus, like how it's been spread and the symptons... to play safe....

I am intending to put the hand santizer on my kids often. Maybe every 4hrly? if i can remember.. :boogie:

Have similar concerns regarding scarlet fever but seems to be under control?

Already booked a trip to go in july with parents and son (20 months). Will be staying at Kowloon hotel.

It is not so serious until the govt has to issue travel warning I think...

Which hotel are you staying may I know? How many days will you be in HKG?

Staying at Kowloon Hotel ... Near tsh mtr ... Staying for 5d4n

We know that Hong Kong is regarded as a paradise for all the travelers. If you are going to Hong Kong with your kids, then you should not miss the Disneyland. This theme park is extremely attractive. This park features four themed areas: Main Streets USA, Fantasyland, Adventureland and Tomorrowland. For you, the Adventureland is best to experience some jungle-themed adventures. But your kids may be more interested in the Fantasyland, which offers various great amenities for children. At the Fantasyland you can find many live characters and places which are originated from Disney’s movies.

If u are going to ocean park, do not take the pram. Not v handicap friendly with all the stairs to climb. I was there a few years back and spent half the time carrying the stroller. Don't know about now.

yes, i agree hk roads are really unfriendly for prams and wheelchairs. taking the bus and train is a problem too if you use the pram.

i used sarong wraps when kids were babies which protect them from the sun and dust.

i remember many years ago, the sarong wraps were not that widely used in spore and other countries and i was using one with ds in it. many people on the road (in hk) actually tried to peep into it to see what i was carrying.

Well child harness is also not popular cos when I used on DD who was 3 at that time, people were staring and laughing at it.
