      Dear all KS parents,

Can anyone tell me how to draft the PV application for a higher chance of being selected? I've run thru some of the schools PV forms and most ask for the same thing....and I suppose many parents would tick yes for library, events and sports day etc...how then do the schools select from the pool of applications which seems to be able to offer the same??haiz..I'm targeting either BPPS or PHPS..as I leave nearby these 2 schools...please advise

Hi, i'm one of the PV from BPPS.
From what i know, they will take in all the PV.
For 2005 batch, there are about 72 PV.
For 2006 batch, u may want to ask Rex as she was a PV now.
R u staying within 1 km from BPPS?

Wow I'd be wary if the school accepts all pv applicants cos the chance of ballot would be high. If 70+ apply under p2B sure need to ballot already

          Hi Parents,

I've just received confirmation from Paya Lebar MGS that I've been accepted as PV. Was so looking forward to being accepted and now that I am, I feel worried.

Being a working mother, I anticipate a lot of annual leaves needed to be taken in order for me to fulfill the 40 hours.. So, was just wondering if anyone has any idea what should I be expecting (meaning assignments or tasks given by the school)?

          Hi,

May I know which year was your child born in? My DD was born in 2007 and I wish to PV in Paya Lebar MGS. Isit consider late to send in PV form? Thanks.

My Child was born in 2006 and will be in P1 in 2013. I am not sure if there's a deadline for PV applications but you can still try nonetheless. The thing I realized about Paya Lebar MGS is the fact that even Phase 2B will be sucked into the balloting ordeal. Sigh!

mummy of 3, if I don't do anything, most likely my DD will end up in the nearest and most unpopular West View Pri. I'm not keen on that. The other one within 1km is Greenridge but Phase2C also needed ballot within 1km. Within 2km is Beacon and BPPS. I thot BPPS would be hardest to get in, so I set my target on Greenridge or Beacon. Actually I started my homework only last month and wrote in to enquire about PV. Luckily Beacon replied and so at least I am now PV for Beacon, a little less stressful now. So you can go for P2B at BPPS right?

                BPPS under P2B within 2km
                Greenridge under P2C within 1km
Under P2C Supp will be Yu Hua
As im still staying at Teban..
:yikes: under P2B for Beacon is 99% confirm in leh...
                :congrats: :rahrah:

Yes I hope it stays this way for Beacon, but there can always be surprises! Who knows next year maybe alot more siblings enrol in Phase 1, cos alot of families with young children in Bukit Panjang leh.

You staying at Teban? How is it within 1km of Greenridge? Sorry I blur :scratchhead:
