Was Galerie Lafayette at United Square? I remember them at Orchard Road, near Orchard Hotel.
Or were they at the place where borders is in now ???? The blooding place. I recalled buying my prom dress from there.
I think they started off at Le Meridien, then close down, then shifted to where Borders was. Something like that. -
was there a Printemps before ?

their design and colour cordination for kids' clothings is always very nice
used to pick up some everytime I passed through Paris
i think their pricing is an issue and being not in big number here, they can't compete -
there used to be a HK based dept store that was at Wheelock Place but closed down too, can't remember the name though but it was those high-end store type. :oops:
