ya, cwc just being modest and humble. :)
Errrhhh..... , it's real. For the same dish, I verified with my mom 3x, tried it 4x, still each time different.buds:
ha ha .... i only know a few dishes/recipes....but becos of the 'add some this, add some that, no precise amts' ..... my dishes has lotsa permutations and each time taste differently horrible :faint:
You cracked me up!
This sounds hilarious! :rotflmao:
I'm sure you're exaggerating... can't be that bad bah.. :nailbite:
DD & DS went like this \"Mommy....is this supposed to be what PoPo cooked that day? How come yours LOOK and TASTE so different?!?!\"
While Buds came out stronger, a good cook now....I came out 100% convinced, me no cook potential, cos' tastebuds is insensitive, most of the time can only comment \"taste good, I like\".....can't really taste the ingredients used. But too bad, DH can taste quite well, hence dun really eat much of what I cook & plus he likes different food from the kids and myself. :frustrated:
These days with helper, will leave it mostly to helper....just tell her, cook this cook that....cos' I can't teach too. So far, edible to me....but MIL and DH will be complaining..... -
sleepy:
When I first started with cooking....kept repeating that few recipes that kids like, but only cook 2-3 times a week.linden2000:
Last time used to order Tingkat dinner but after a while got tired of it. The one we had was very oily and some days even sliced cucumber is considered a dish which I find unacceptable! So now it's back to cooking but I only have time to cook simple dishes.
Me too. Tingkat for quite a while but food unhealthy by my definition, besides 'cheap' dishes, it's usually oily, salty and I've doubts on hygenie as well, preparation process surely won't be as clean as I would like. I'm very fussy one so end up with more job :stupid:
Then PIL shifted in, MIL took over but horrible she, put CHILLI PADI in all the veg cos' her children like chilli. So end up, 1 dinner 2 cooks ie. I have to cook separately for my kids so that they have stuff to eat. Then MIL would cook a lot and tried calling her children back for dinner...but alas, all refused so we ended up eating leftovers everyday  Finally, she gave up, with no one to cook for MIL went to work.....boy, I was super-happy :rahrah: .
But then, I can't cook well and no time to cook everyday, so started TINGKAT!!! Tried 2-3 caterers, but 4 months later, MIL and DH complaint like shit, so back to me cooking again. But same lah, just cook 2-3 times....but then, MIL and DH complaint I am 'poisoning' them cos' I tend to use pre-prepared stuff and sauces ie. preservatives, unhealthy etc !!! Hello, MIL uses a lot of MSG loh..... what's the diff?? Now with helper, just close my eyes liao. I refused to let maid use MSG but MIL pass to her, insist ok....so whatever. Even cooking sooooo much trouble, so my motto now.....just tell the helper what I want, the rest CLOSE eyes, as long as not too oily and salty, no point complain. -

Yes I'm very lucky to have lots of help. Mil cooks and helper does housework. So that leaves me plenty of time to.......erm surf KSPLucky you. :celebrate:
Must be nice to be able to be a SAHM and yet retain the helper... to go about the mundane activities (chores), so you can plan stuff for yourself to do or spend all your time with the children.
Aaaahhh... bliss. :please:

How to ban? End up people telling me I'm difficult, there's nothing wrong......
So what if I tell maid cannot use? She see MIL using, MIL telling her to use so that food taste better :faint: I refused to buy when it's used up....but MIL top it up again & again :stupid: .....I give up liao lah.
Ha ha....suddenly strike me......, SAHM = SAH Monster too :rotflmao: -
:rotflmao:
No lar, it shud be monster in law since she makes things more ermm challenging.. -

Huh use pre-prepared sauces is 'poisoning them'? Actually some of the pre-prepared sauces are MSG-free and preservative-free. Usually choose those with the health promotion board logo.

Wah, at least got one small robot. My kids are both in primary school...although my house is not tip top condition but neat and clean enough since there isn't any baby crawling around.
So relieved I'm not burdened by a maid. Those few years when I had one as daughter was a bb and son in P1...stressed out bcos of the maid. It's much easier now...on days when I am in the mood, I'll use the vacuum cleaner for the areas where irobot can't reach.
In my house.. \"I\" am the robot.
Same name still. IRobot.
