i had just finished Sophie Kinsella, Twenties Girl. Whenever i was holding the book, friends will laugh at me said u r still in ur 20s? well, this book doesnt mean for 20 year old girls. It means the girl in 1920s. Love the twist at the end of the story and how the girl get to know better on her past away great grand aunt. Great book should read it.

          Angelight:

I recently finished reading \"The Marriage You've Always Wanted\" by Gary Chapman. Great book, with practical exercises at the back of each chapter which you can do with your spouse. Would recommend to anyone, whether you are getting married, newly married or married for many years. πŸ™‚

          another Gary's book... he's a gd author πŸ™‚

Yup Gary Chapman's books are very practical. Hubby and I read them before we got married. Good to discover what each other's love language is, so that what we do can be 'received' well!

Otherwise we tend to give in our own love language (e.g. Acts of Service) when the person doesn't feel loved by that and what they really want is Gifts, or Physical Touch, etc. πŸ™‚

So far seems that most of the books are non-fiction? Anyone enjoys fiction?

I really liked A.S Byatt’s "Possession". It was made into a movie too.
No, no, when in-law(s) trying to be funny, take the book out and read in front of them  If hubby dare to make noise, tell him after what in-law(s) said / did, you need to read this book to achieve inner peace!

I seriously think I need to read this book to get over what SIL has done/is doing. Shall find the book and read it when she comes to my house

                  πŸ˜‰ Wishing you success!
Do you mean success in getting my message across? πŸ˜‰
