Problem is that AT IS my neighbourhood school. It is the nearest school to my home. The next nearest schools are Catholic High and St Nics.

You are one of those caught in a win-win or lose-lose situation. win-win if you have the means to get into those schools before Phase 2C. lose-lose if you are stuck with Phase 2C and may end up sending your child to a far away school even though there is one right downstairs.

i was just musing that this is just a \"vicious cycle\".

There are parents who would like to send their kids to nearby schs, but after counting the costs think that it is better to send the child to a school which is further away in Phase 2A than take a gamble at Phase 2C. And so we have alarming figures at Phase 2A.

I wonder if there is no such scenario, will P1 registration be less stressful for some parents?

It would be useful to see a breakdown of the registered students at Phase 2A, how many <1km, >2km, between 1 and 2km.

Disagree. These \"branded\" pri schs have their fair share of pupils entering \"non-branded\" sec schools.

Can anyone share on e uniform,shoes n socks?school logo or not?

heard that they may be changing school uniform next year. But no news yet. Black shoes. White socks. School badge is sewn on uniform.

is not that bad. maybe p1 registration time admin staff more uptight. don't we all have \"bad hair\" days? i have gone to the general office several times. the elderly lady is quite friendly and helpful actually.

go with your gut feeling. if you don't feel good registering there, then don't. it's still not too late. else register already must \"forever hold your peace\". :evil:

Sigh... what to do? I have done all I can do. Now just have to wait and see if can get SHHK letter and decide whether to gamble with AT after the results of 2A2 are out. Crossing all fingers and toes :xedfingers:

Actually if itz super close to ur home,and e next school needs transport to get there,then u can try gg to ur MP to write an appeal.on e grounds tat this sch is nearest.no harm trying

Dun think this can be done. If so, a lot of parents staying nearby will do that instead of sending their children to far away schs.

There is sch socks with name but not compulsory.
