My son is taking the science domain test in ri right now ...surprising ! Nobody apply English domain ??? There r 42 for maths ,11 for science and only 5 for Chinese ,so total is only 58 students. The no. Of students compare to gat test is so much different !!infront of my son I look very calm but actually my heart bit very fast ..

        Maybe I m too kanjong!!
        Ms Tay
Only 11 for science, seems like your ds has good chance. All the best. You are not alone. Am cool outward but nervous for kid too. My ds is relaxed. He finds all the 3 tests from ri, acsi and nus high ok. I am rather anxious waiting for nus high results but he is as cool as cucumber. He didn't even brother to ask when will the nus high test results be out. I don't remember being half as anxious when I sat through my own exam when I was his age.

admission is not based on supply and demand for DSA. you get the CO if you meet the selection criteria - proven ability beyond your peers

Just sent my DS to HCI for DSA, quite a big crowd there. All the kids look smart. And a long queue for GEP, probably all apply for it.

Saw 潘玲玲 and ι»„δΈ–η”· with their kids there as well!
Don't think all gep went for hci. My ds ge class less than half applied for hci but all applied for ri.

There're 40+ girls. They registered at the CLC then proceeded to different rooms for their respective tests. 18, 11 & 15 (Eng), three groups. Not a crowded event.

                  Such a small crowd ! πŸ˜‰
I guess 18 for math and 11 for science.
Does this mean higher chance to get shortlisted?
Also, is there a quota for each domain?
Anybody in math and science? Can share what happened?
                  Thank-you.

small crowd does not mean easier to get in

not to pour cold water here. reality is DSA admission is not driven by supply and demand. there is no minimum quota to be taken from each domain. last year i understand none got CO from HMT domain DSA. students must be able to demonstrate ability beyond their peers to have a chance of getting CO
