I am for one not in favor of the STELLAR program! :nunchuk: Still prefers the traditional way of having a textbook to follow thru the syallabus! :imcool:

:hi5: same here. Unless the story books they r teaching is very structured and swing towards following syallabus step by step. Agreed on the need to read books regularly but using story books to teach, I am a bit :skeptical: .

        SAHM_TAN:

From your observation, is your child not benefitting from the program or is it because as parents we have no basis to revise with our kids?
For me - I feel it is more of the later - i have no basis of what to revise and at times can be very :frustrated: when I sit down to do EL revision with my DD1 🤷

Not prejudice but I have constantly being finding around what is being taught in other schools for my DD1's P3 level and feedback to the EL HOD for reference. The result? :stompfeet:

In the Stellar link, there are resources for parents and kids. Maybe you can use those?

Not stressing you, it's a fact. How fast the kids can learn and retain depends on how much time the mummy can commit, no joke esp for music, abacus and some competitive CCAs...
Eeeerrrrr.. Why need to send them for the music? Competitive ..CCA?

Think at this moment, won't think of sending till the needs arise šŸ˜“
