Virgin Atlantic. I heard good things about it too so was rather disappointed. Upper Class some more.

      different planes?

My flight from SG to HK ,HK to Chicago (biz class aka upper crust  ) was really good. Sat at the upper deck

Flight back from Chicago to HK was somewhat a different experience but I noticed it was an older plane as well... so maybe that happened for virgin?

Then I was v unlikely to get an older plane. Or maybe my standards too high having been spoilt by SQ.
yalah, jtoh jatoh from SQ standard

Is it possible to fly to Washington, stay few nights there for museums, white house, lincoln memorial, then fly to Orlando for theme parks ?

Anyone with experience with such a route to share ?
definitely possible. go to http://www.unitedairlines.com.sg and choose multi-city booking and make sure you put washington dc as one of the stops...and fare will not be much of a difference. from singapore to orlando, the transit point is either HK/Tokyo, and then either SFO, Chicago or Washington.

How is the United Airline's inflight service ?
I read that the inflight entertainment is practically zero. But how about the air steward(ess) service ? and others ?
