Tx for sharing what Mr Gan said, and I have actually emailed him to ask for details.

His reply is that the school has been reducing the number of classes over the years as it prepares for Single Session.... his reply is in-sync with what the school has said....

not that noone replies, but as said by another mother before, the school has a parent association and the parents are sharing more over there.

luvmum, u can look up for Mrs Yeo's email in the school website but she does not take care of much of the school's happenings these days.

This is meant for parents who are going to register their kids for P1 soon to gather more info from more experienced mummies... to share information..

The parent association are for those whose kids are already in the school.. and they disallowed other from joining.. then seek information from where.. ourselves..

Nevertherless, I believe I will share my experiences with anyone who wants to know more of SV after my registration completed tomorrow..

Congrats. It’s rather tough to get into this school by proximity or even if you are willing to slog for the school…

I have tried sharing experience and I guess a few other mothers did too… if u do read back the few pages, you’ll see the few replies. Yes, this thread is rather inactive and don’t expect the SVPA’s to be active … it’s not a school with super active parents… I am a sahm and so can’t advise on the afterschool student care options.

Mrs Jenny Yeo has been sitting on the backbench for a while, having her VPs to run the show most of the time. It’s time for her to move on to either another school or retire and I think she’s just waitng for that, but she’s seen (by myself) as to be running the show behind, still.

Yes.. it is tough.. with the vacancies reducing each year for single session..

I consider myself lucky that dh was ex-student, if not I think I would have to go through the balloting.. knowing how popular the school is..

Your kids are studying there?

Yes, I heard there is a very dynamic Principal there but she will be moving on soon.. to another school..
