I knew them since primary school and they were so polite and always greet me whenever I pick my son up from the bus stop(they took the same school bus). But eversince they started sec school, they will just walk past me looking straight even though I smile and said hi to them.
So I dun know what's the reason they become aloof but anyway, our paths are just different.

Why act like this? Actually whichever school the kid goes doesn’t really matter - what is more impt is it suits the kid and the kid is self-motivated there. Afterall, the ultimate route for many kids are either Poly or Uni, and most will end up meeting there whichever school you are from. No doubt top school wil have some students doing well to get scholarship or overseas uni, but most will still end up in local uni. So, what’s the big deal?
