Comparing Pre-school English Reading and Phonics Enrichment
-
Hi All,
I am very very new here. I am a working mom, I have a 30 months baby boy who is in full day childcare.
I am looking for phonics course for my baby boy. Can any Mom or Dad give me any suggestion? recommend me any suitable course?
Thanks in advance. -
dear, aftr going thru the threads
… i am still wonderin where to send my DD (K2)to…
can anybody advise me how about 1 to 1 teaching, 1 of my friend tells me if i am going to send her to ICR or Morris. might so well get a tutor her.the fees will be about the same.
on another note, anybody can help me torecommend a good tutor ?
many thanks in advance… -
can anyone advise any home based phonics class around Yishun/ Khatib area? My girl is 3.5yrs old.
-
I also need recommendation for 1 to 1 home tutor for english/chinese/math, staying around Simei/Pasi Ris area. For K2.
My job requires me to travel overseas quite regularly so enrichment classes distance/location are all part of decision criteria for me. My DH have the similar job nature so I can only rely on my maid to help bring or not then engage one to my home. -
Has anyone sent their kids to Growan at Marine Parade? i heard it is not bad but not sure if it is comparable to others like ICL (which does not have a branch near my place).

me too... any reviews from any parents? -
Many reviews here. In fact, even a poll on the various
service providers that offer Phonics programme. So, do
discuss Phonics topics here.

Hi all,
Are there any gd phonics school that is suitable for my boy who is only 17 months old esp at the east side? Is it too early to start phonics class for him? -
My son is in ZooPhonics now. He’s there basically cos they are one of the few phonics schools that have phonics class for toddlers (18-30months) & is convenient for us.
So far I find the class engaging but it’s more like an activity class. My son was quite ‘lost’ during the phonics session & he joined the class mid-way & did not understand the ‘sounds’ & animal characters with each alphabet.
I taught him at home to help him catch up & now he can follow the teachers in class when they make the alphabet sounds. I’m just letting him stay in the class till he can upgrade to the nursery class (3yo) in Jan 2010. Let him learn the basics first then decide if we want to find another school for him later.
