Your eyes are fine. 18 vacancies for phase 2B but since the school restricted the number of PVs to 15, there's a high chance they will all be in.
A different story for phase 2C. Competition will be stiff for those living within 1 km. No chance for those outside 1 km. -
not only SV, based on the historical data, no chance for those staying more than 1km for Unity, DLS and Yew Tee

I read that the remaining places(18) will still be divided among Phase 2B and Phase 2C. So the 15PV will need to ballot for the 9 places.

Remianing seats is 36, divide into 2 = 18. So should be safe for the 15PV. arrggghhhhhh, why am i rejected as PV!!! -

Distance/ Balloting comes into the picture only when vacancies is lesser than PV. In this case. SV has more vacanies (18) than the PV(15), distance/ balloting is not required. -

active cc members and PV are in same phase right? if both more than 18, then for those staying more than 1km will not have chance. If all stay within 1km, they still need to go for balloting -
for South View - P2B will be allocated 18 seats, P2C another 18 seats.
for P2B, depends on that morning situation:-
a) if 15 PVs + say, another exactly 3 GRC community active leaders also enrol together, then Total = 18 (just nice). Yes, then all 15 SV Pvs safely enter, no ballot.
b) however, if suddenly say got 4 GRC active leaders last minute pop into the picture - Total now shoot up to 19. Exceeded the P2B allocated figure of 18 by 1. Then balloting takes place, by distance.
formula:-

- if Total number (PVs + GRC community leaders) > allocated P2B figure, balloting takes place, by distance.
- if Total number <= allocated P2B figure - then everyone safe, no ballot.
issue now is, we do not know how many GRC leaders coming in. Only on that morning then the school will know. GRC side creates uncertainty. -
now SV 15 PVs can only pray that maximum only 3 GRC leaders come in next Monday morning, then everyone can go in, safe & sound. Nobody out.
if not, just leave it to … God’s will.
