Anyone likes bread with sardine? But the bread must be thickly-buttered, or else the sardine gravy will soak into the bread, sprinkle some chopped parsley to mask the fishy smell.
Me! Me! But I pour away 90% of the gravy so it doesn't get soggy. Then add a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper to the sardine and mash it. For those who like it spicy, add in finely chopped chilli (1 chilli will do and remove seeds). It tastes fantastic! -

Yes! Lots of mayo and pepper on buttered bread. Cod fish fillet and lots of tartar sauce and a slice of cheese and some sweet chilli sauce. Yum -

Aiyo sall, we seem to have the same taste for sandwich. I love sardine sandwich too, but like you said, the bread must be buttered, can throw whatever weight we are watching to the wind! -

Same here, I also drain away as much of the gravy as possible, so that the bread will not become too soggy, but no salt and pepper or chilli for me though. Just mash and sandwich. :celebrate:

Oh yes, what about cream cheese on bread, then add some dried cranberries on it. Beautiful colour and really yummy!
