Do you speak Singlish at home?
I am very cautious in wat i say in front of DD so I try my best to speak BBC English lor… But here can speak Singlish wat…

We speak Mandarin at home, so no problem with Singlish When we do speak English, I tend to mah, lah, so my DH will remind me to be careful

Even if u speak BBC English at home once the kids go to sch sure pick up singlish... More impt is make sure they know proper structure sentence, the 'loh' n 'lah' is inevitable. :evil:

Like you.. I am also quite cautious about what i said infront of ds.. cos at his age.. he tends to pick up and use it.. :faint:
