For those who got the recommendation, I heard the school will allocate a time for you to come down and is not \"walk in\" as others. Is it true?

That was what shhk told us but the sms from the school merely said can register on 18 and 19 July without stating which day or time so I presume no special allotted time

Don't think so. Parents should be able to register at any time - as long as within the timeline.

I have confirmed with AT that no special alloted time. Have given them feedback that SHHK giving out the wrong info.

Larkspur, congrats on getting nearer to your target school. Think you better confirm with the school about the timing issue but I would think NCP should be the same as AT

Nope. That should about it. I am extra KS. The SMS was sent by AT to my dh's hp and since dh will not be with me at AT, I am intending to take a picture of the sms and produce it as evidence that I have SHHK recommendation 😂 This is assuming I register at AT. Sigh... that's a headache

Call the school and they said there is timing for parents to register at NCP. They have mailed out the eligible letter and we suppose to bring the letter to register.

One other question.i did a withdrawal for my old school this morning and i got the withdrawal acknowledgement slip. Sometimes worried the system not updated since the removal of name is done in MOE system with the help of the school to fax them my details. Being Kiasu , just to check anyone knows moe site has any stats showing parents doing withdrawal?

Any body have idea NCP released how many letters for PV and SHKK member? The school should already have this information at this stage although they maynot know how many parent endored as an active community leader will enrol their child? Also when will the parent know whether we need to do the balloting or not?

                      Hi,

Does anyone know for Presbyterian schools, is the letter from Pastor enough or must we also produce baptism certificate of parents? Cos my baptism cert has been missing for many years, did not realise that it may be required. On the MOE website, it says a letter is sufficient but my friends say that it's not sufficient. :imdrowning: :?:

When I registered for PHPPS last year under 2b, I did not bring along my baptism cert. The letter from your pastor should suffice.
