I am rather surprised by the low no. of applications for Marymount Convent. Does anyone know what;s the reason for that? Principal issue? Lousy teachers?

Anyone has an idea of North Vista Primary and the Reggio-Emilia approach that it adopts?

I asked a couple of mothers who stay in my estate, abt Marymount Convent (their daughters are there). So far the girls are happy and the mothers have no complains too. I think the sch location is not too convenient for most ppl, hence the low application.

As for myself, I went for CHIJ TPY because of the secondary sch affiliation. I balloted and got a place today. If I didn't, I will be happy to send my girl to Marymount otherwise.

I agreed with dun wanna stress out (wow!)…Marymount Convent is a good sch (my fren’s dotter is in it), but it 's rather an inconvenient place, that’s why the take up rate quite low i guess…nearby MRT would be Marymount MRT.

but you can actually tell them your "foster parents" have all along been taking care of your child right? i meant how would they know if they are not the one taking care of your child in the past? sometimes a bit of white lie do help and is understandable right? they won’t go and check on your past right?

actually my child will be in the P1 2011 registration and i intend to declare that my parents will be taking care of my child. I am looking at Pei Chun as my parents is staying the block just behind the school so it’s very convenient. But I’m also worried that my child may not be able to catch up with the academic over there. hmm…any comments to share?
