        SAHM2KIDS:
Ladies, you may do facial at home. The skincare nowadays are quite good.

        hi and :welcome:!

erm, when i was working, when i returned home, ds1 will require my full attention right till night time when he falls asleep. then Dh will require my attention. then i also need to prepare stuff for next day's work. so never did facial (last time i did was before wedding day!)

I tried buying mask before, and friends gave me some skincare range prdt for bday b4, end up never use, i think all expired, throw away.

then after i become SAHM in 5 yrs ago, i also find that i have no time at all to even put on a mask.

the only things i do are hurriedly trim brow, put on pore pack.

but even if put on pore pack, dd always want me to carry her, cos she is attracted to that white thing on my nose. and if I carry her, she will try to pull it off. :rotflmao:

Pore pack isn't really good. Get gel scrub better. Scrub the whole face. It's gentler to your skin and it's cleaner as it removes the dead cells. Then whatever you apply to your face will be absorbed otherwise it just a waste of time and effort.

Frequent facial at home is actually better then once a month at beauty salon. Better result, save time and money. I do not have much pocket money also so need to DIY to maintain. πŸ™‚

i read somewhere about standing in front of a boiling kettle for steaming effect. has anyone try that before?

mine is an electric kettle, so not much steaming effect. was looking at the rice cooker last nite and looks like it is a better replacement. πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

Yes, you may try \"CURE - Natural aqua gel\" from Japan. You may get from Watson for $42. This gel is very mild, no beads, purely gel even sensitive skin can use. Do not scrub your face when you have pimples. It will make it worse. πŸ™‚

                  Hi LolMum,

Sorry, I never try any steaming effect at home. To me, I guess steaming is just to make the pores open and better cleansing result. πŸ™‚
