      Hi QMS,

Info from one of my freind's freind said that CHIJ (Kellock) on oridentation day were being bring to the classroom. All were being ask to sit for English & Chinese test. :!:

Those who performed badly have to come back in Nov or dec maybe 2 weeks for extra remedical lessons. Not free of charge have to pay, 😢

So when P1 school reopen, all would more or less the same standard.
Guess we need to be prepare as RMPS would be also a siong siong school for us.
      :?:

BRPS do not have in house student care. the nearest student care will be at telok blangah cc, under PAP . The sch fee abt sgd 180 plus per mth, cheaper compare to the rest of the student care.

              Hi Rena :
I agree. I was referring to the PAP BASC unit at the TBCC, literally behind the school via a staircase.
As BRPS has only 1 session from P1-P6, students use after-school care throughout which is $220+ per month.

Sorry i didnt mean to offend anyone abt GESP's BASC. :torchme:
Just that we were shown by the BASC supervisor that the GESP before-care facility consist of one office on the 2nd Flr (for napping)
& a normal classroom on 1st Flr. 2 cubicle bathroom in the usual school toilet.
Lunch is catered from Redhill foodstall with nutrition requirements set. šŸ™‚

Once again, it is only our personal understanding of what was shown to us.

ps. Sorry admistrator, further BASC details could be discussed in the relevant BASC thread if there are parents interested. šŸ™‚

Don't worry about it, Bakugan. Thanks for clarifying, and best of luck to you in your quest for Phase 2C Supplementary.

                  Hi Chipmunks & Bakugan

I enrol my DS at GESP under P2C. I don't think the sch is that bad...

YMCA student care - there are only abt 15 vacancy . I received the confirmation letter from the sch last week. The student care required to see this confirmation letter. I went to regisitration this morning and there are quite a no of parents going for registration too.
Thks all for the well wishes !

                  Rena - is GESPS having afternoon sessions for P1 & P2 ? P3 - P6 all morning sessions ?

There is a plot of land in front of the Cantonment Towers (Block 10) carpark, opposite The Pinnacle@Duxton, previously earmarked for a primary school when the development plan for Cantonment Towers was drawn up. Cantonment Towers have been completed since 2001 and I didn't see anything being done to the land. However, last week, I saw one excavator in the area. This morning, I saw three.

So, I think the government may have kicked start the building of a new primary school there, to be in time for residents of The Pinnacle@Duxton. The Pinnacle@Duxton is slated for completion next year. Hence, we may just see another new primary school in the area.

I couldn't see any signboard indicating the project name. My statement that it is a school is based on the development plan previously drawn up. Will keep a close watch to see what will be built on that piece of land. Stay tuned. šŸ˜‰

                      Hi QMS,

Maybe we need to get URA blueprint planning map to check & verify. If no primary school to be constructed then next time schools like RMPS, ZDPS, CHIJ (Kellock) & RVPS would have fierce competition. Maybe ballot at 1Km only.
