      Hi,

I will be transferring my Kid (P1) to KCPPS.
Is there any transportation arrangement from Sembawang to KCPPS?

      Thanks.

aiya...now im nt so sure anymore...lol

initially, i tot would be a gd choice...but seeing the past years' results for psle...duno if im making the right decision.

yangzheng on the other hand seems to be doing much better. any comments for me? sigh sigh~~
        hi deardear07

u mean the past years' results for PSLE at KCPPS are worsening?

my hubs was fr yangzheng and we live within 1km of Yangzheng and 1-2km of KCPPS. Our eldest won't be gg to Pri Sch until a few more years down the road, but I am just beginning to monitor 'trends'. 😜

can anyone let me know if both hubs and i are baptised christians in a presybterian church and living 1-2km of KCPPS, our boy will definitely get a place, even if we are not parent volunteers?

        thanks in advance!!

The best is u go check if ur baptism cert is accepted at kcpps presbyterian church.not sure if they r affiliated under phrase2b. Kcpps got close history if balloting at 1-2 n outside 2km.

:congrats: don't buy any books at this time. it's still too early. the syllabus may change. have to wait for the booklist first. a better time will be end october, when the exams are over. u can post in this forum then.

                  Hi,

My son will be going to KCPPS next year. I’m staying at Bishan st. 12. Anybody lives nearby my place & sending their kids to P1 next year?

What should I do next? Can I order PE attire & name tag anytime now at school bookshop?

We are being asked to come on 12 Nov. Will we be given opportunity to talk to the form teacher? I assume the school will introduce the form teacher to the parents during briefing time on 12Nov.

It is too early to order name tag. They have not decided what colour the name tags for 2012 pri 1 will be yet. But it is probably orange. Different level, diff colours.

Wait till nearer 12 Nov for more news. Heard that the sch uniform may change.

Yes, probably will get to see the form teacher on 12 nov. But that day is quite chaotic with lots of forms to fill in. Not sure if it is conducive to talk.

                      Hi Zeemimi,

                      :thankyou:

If the environment doesn't allow me to talk to the form teacher, can I call them?

When the PTC is conducted at KCPPS? Twice a year or once a year?

if u are willing to stay behind and wait for the teacher to settle all the paper work, i guess you can squeeze in some time to talk to the teacher. But then, the teacher on that day may not be the P1 teacher in 2012. Nothing is really firmed up yet and things may still change.

Usually on the first day of sch (2012), form teachers will give kids a letter introducing themselves, giving their contact email / numbers and best time to call them.

                        PTC usually once a year.
