Thks a lot for the info!

So regardless of which committees we are in, still got to make sure that we are EM (for 1 yr) before we can qualify under P2B?
Sub committee in CCMC does not come with P2B privilege.
Yep - letter of appointment for EM must be dated before 30 june for the following year registration.

Hubby is actually appointed as ‘auditor’ for CCC. Is this considered EM position or still need to be appointed?

How is the letter from PA on EM worded? Will they specifically state that we are now an EM?

As observer, do i juz attend weekly meeting?
wen become EM, wat r e duties & how often?[/list]
Other than the monthly meeting, you will also be involved in events throughout the years. Depending on your RC, you will have to send a week to do door-to-door ticket selling for each events (which typically will have 3-4 per years). National Day is coming and you will probably send 1 week to hang flags and decorate the area at your RC. You will also have to help out on your constituency events organised by CCMC, CSC, AAG, WSC or whichever group... depending how chairman arrow people. Not forgetting the monthly Joint Patrol. Typically you have to spend about 3-7 days per month on community matters

If you want to join GRL purely for P2B. Not worth the effort. Cause after serving 3-4 years in the RC, you will be so entrangled in the whole eco-system since you are involved in the events by RC, CCMC, CSC, AAG etc etc. You might be approached to help out in the Meet-The-People session. So many people know you and you will find it out to get out of the group

To be appointed as Auditor, I believe your husband have served many years as GRL, and somebody who understand the GRO well. In a committee, there are around 30 people of which around 10 or more is appointment holders such as Chairman, V Chairman, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Secretary....etc and appointment holders do enjoy the P2B privilege as just like other Executive Member.

Got to check my appointment letter for details, but for sure it will state you are EM or appointment title and the term as well.
