Lack of teachers I dun think so. I know many who wanted to apply to be teachers but weren’t not given a chance. For what reason? I think you know. They are just trying to import foreigners. Crappy idea again.

Heard of female chinese swimming coach of a primary school who has been punishing kids physically :spank: such as hitting with swim board or hitting with whistle etc., but these actions seem to be condoned by the parents :shock: .

I wonder… how would a parent handle things differently… if your child walks out on u… in the midst of u reprimanding him? I think sure hit the roof also…


Every school will have bad apples… even elite schools… how to guide these bad apples towards the right path?

With SG being an affluent society, where everyone is deemed highly educated, there is a growing intellectual-snob mentality…

Good that MOE is looking into the values, EQ thingy… but then again… how to teach these?
