Does anyone know if the school will cut down the number of P1 classes at the temporary premise at Toh Tuck?

Majority of PVs do not have a chance to ballot. A lot of grassroots within 1km applied.

For PVs in Nanyang, they are recruited a year earlier than other schools and clock in more hours too.. I have friends who were PV before. I wrote in when my DS was 4 but was nor accepted . Luckily, we were lucky at Ph2B . As I understand, normally PVs who are unlucky in 2B will get a second chance if they continue to PV in school. They are given priority once any vacancies are avail. A friend failed in 2B in the dragon year, continued to PV and son got in in Term 3 !

There are 40 odd PVs this year too…compared to 28 vacancies

VooVoo, do u know how many PVs stay within 1km? I read of the 45 who registered under 2B, 31 stay within 1km, and these 31 will be balloting for 28 vacancies tom.

This year? A guess would be 20. This number will only go up when future batch of pv see that balloting is now for those within 1km

So why would this number go up? I thot it should come down? Or this should discourage those who are outside 1km and are thinking of being a PV.

It’s harder to be selected as pv. Once selected, there are means to try to stay closer to the school when registration time comes…
