It's a really good book. The authors are NUS profs. And these profs happen to be the authority on taxonomy and biodiversity. Definitely good buy.

And start locally is the best. Cos we must learn to love and protect our native species. Don't let them dwindle and die.

dh has been nagging me to dye my white hair. i don't see the point as it grows out within a month. that money, i rather use it somewhere else.
fyi, we don't buy each other gifts during dating (only handicraft and cards) and after married (cos same spending/savings account ah). we don't celebrate, only a cake for the kids to cut. only recently, when ds2 is old enough to sleep over at their grandparent's place, that we finally get some 'life' back. but the problem is, the last time we had that freedom, we ended up cooped up at home watching dvds cos we have no idea where to go and to do what! lolz.

Any of the moms here Nature Society members? If you are members, you will get magazines and updates on the many activities and talks and guided tours around the nature spots in Singapore and even the region.


Now there are more and more geared for families and some are suitable for very young kids too.

Will never run out of ideas what to do on weekends and holidays.

lolz. i wanna ask sahms, where you people go for lomantic and not-too-ex night outs. single-income, my dh said to go for buffet (not many has 1-for-1 and also many times the kids sleepover is last minute, so difficult to do advance booking), i also heartpain. :oops:

can also go sign up for online newsletter with National Parks. their website also have list of events/guided tours dates.
