oh the make up part is quite true. my ds also said, mom, teacher says have to put lipstick on the day of the concert! eeeekkks!
my ds dun like make up  .... dun like to perform in front of too many ppl....:faint: :faint: :faint:peipei73:
why he doesn't want to join in concert? did they give him some crappy role?
my ds2 likes concerts. even if he is a tree or mushroom he is also very happy.
i explained the stage lights are strong, so if don't put make up, will look like ghost to audience, very pale.
he said the teacher also said that, but all the boys kept saying \"eeeyer, don't want\"
hahaha, the girls must be excited though. all boys at this age think make up is so girly, they don't like.
My DD1 super excited about the make-up but maybe DS too young or maybe there's not many boys in his class, so he's still ok about the make-up. He thinks it's part of the performance. -
peipei73:
My DS liked his costume. Maybe he too SNAG :?
yes...last yr he performed in the concert. once the concert ended, the first thing he did is run into toilet changed the costume and clean off the make up :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:kabalevsky:

You're welcome! :snuggles:
:thankyou:Picolo:
Hi SAHM Tan, you can actually buy the Chinese textbooks now, cos in Singapore every school (except Poi Ching?) uses the same Chinese textbooks, for SAP schools they would use the Higher Chinese versions. Alternatively, you can also go to http://www.xuele.edumall.sg/xuele/slot/u107/index.html , the main text of each chapter as well as some games (Chinese characters or Hanyupinyin) can be found there. In fact, P1 - Sec stuff are all there. Have fun! :imcool:
See what I mean about :lovesite: so many mummies lending a helping hand
And I concur 101% that this is a wonderful website. :lovesite: too. Just don't get overzealous and :nosebleed: if you get what I meant... I go into different relevant threads every now & then to get useful info, thanks to all the generous parents who have walked the paths and so willing to share. -
peipei73:

Good nite everyone! Will llls tml w all of u! :grphug: -
SAHM_TAN:
Ya, balloting is painful. Although I did not have to go through it in P2B, I can fully understand how the other mummies feel. We all know that it not guaranteed but still, after all the time and effort put into P2B, it can be really heartpain when the child still cannot get into the school. So all the best to all the parents who were not successful in P2B. Hope they will be ok in their P2C.
If they are not successful in P2C, the PVs will put in the waitlist. So, it's just a matter of time for their kids to get into the school they PVed in. Those with better academic results may have priority....'lucky ones' get into sooner, ie P1, some have to wait till P2...
Hi kabalevsky,Picolo:
hi picolo,
long time no see.
you have older kids too?
I do take a peek at some popular threads every now & then, but too busy to llls... I have one P4 and one P3. Looking at the happenings on P2B registration this year, I'm so glad I don't have to be subjected to all those torture... I was very lucky cos my eldest didn't need to go through balloting last time... -
