Hi QMS, congrats on getting your child to RMPS!

For the rest, good luck to you today!

Insider, yesterday, my DD asked me what is "balloting"… and like you, I’m quite surprise too to hear that from her. She was telling me her classmates had to go through balloting for the P1 registration.

        Hi Qms

I think it our personal prefences…
our children have been attending to the children centre which is enclosed in a compound. the place of its whole.
However, GESPL student is more open kind. Different from those chilldcare centre. The children will move around. From classroom at level 1 to office at level 2 and to canteen for their meal. I’m quite comfortable with the student care. Our kids are no longer that young kid…they will going P1 next year. I feel shd let them learn to be more indepence. Therefore, I feel that I have no pro with GESPL student care. I’m more concern is the teacher who is guiding the children. The supervior of this Student care is a ex moe teacher and also a ex discipline master.

After all its our own prefences. My place is very near to BRSP. However, i’m still not comfortable to go for BRSP.

          Hi Rena!

Thank you for your information on the BASC in GESPS.

I was just curious what was it about the BASC in GESPS that made Bakugan lean towards BASC in Telok Blangah, and hence, would rather go for BRPS than GESPS.
Oh have check with the PCF Telok Blangah that it cost about $183.40 for 1/2 a day in the morning. They then would take Radin Mas Sch bus to the school around 12pm.

Maybe Bakugan can give more details on PCF Telok Blangah??

            Hi Maozai!

Thanks. Your child is in CHIJ Kellock, right? Titank mentioned that the girls will need to go through a test on the day of orientation, while the parents will be \"diverted\" away.

My son mentioned his friends going to Rulang, Nan Hua, Henry Park, Fairfield Methodist, ACJS, Queenstown, etc. I was quite puzzled because it seemed as if everyone had confirmed places in these schools, except my son. So, I was rather 😞 then.

              Hi QMS,

Your child attending kindergarten in the west? The schools that you mentioned seem all at the western region. Wow they all have confirmed place either by Phase 2B or lucky in the balloting.

                Hi Titank!

Yes, my son's childcare centre is in the west - at my husband's workplace. I believe those who got into Henry Park, ACJS and Nan Hua registered at Phase 1 or 2A2.

Not sure about the rest because they are all foreigners/PRs. So, quite puzzled. :?

Precisely! Even though your place is very near to BRPS, you don't feel comfortable sending your son to this school. I believe many parents share the same view as you.

Hence, in order for Bakugan to favour BRPS, there might be something good about the PCF Telok Blangah. So, perhaps Bakugan would like to share more information on this centre, for the benefit of all those who stay in the area and looking for BASC for their children?

Wow if like that maybe can consider shift to Telok Blangah Heights where there is Blangah Rise Primary, Telok Blangah Childcare ($180+) & the future Telok Blangah MRT (Circle Line). Heard there is Mkt & Hawker Centre?

The sad thing there is no direct SBS bus from Telok Blangah Heights to RMPS? Look very near yet so far. In future the IR ready where is just 10 minutes by bus to there? Wonder how much would be the 5R Flat cost over there?

                      Hi Titank!

You sure you want to send your kids to BRPS? :? My daughter's childcare teacher has a cousin staying at Telok Blangah Heights. However, he registered his child in RMPS instead of BRPS. As he is beyond 1 km from RMPS, he didn't even get the chance to ballot, and is very upset about it.

A 5R flat in telok Blangah Height costs about $550k, on the average.

Ha.ha can't seem think of a good reason to enroll in BRPS. Look at the Bukit Merah thread hardly have any discussion on BRPS. So the cousin had already get into a school since no chance for her to ballot?
