yalor, i tot such only for tops school where they will assign kiddos according to their strength.

was brief on the assessment, but I was busy with #2 to listen, but i think they are tested on

simple word - form words with mixed the alphabets, complete the blanks with missing alphabets. sentencing

simple maths, phonics etc etc

cant remember in detail

We didnt not put our kiddo into any enrichment classes. Her only learing media is via My First Skool (former NTUC CC). And the skool is famous for not preparing the kiddo to Pri school cirriculum, but just learning thru play.

must be tough on the kid to go on an assessment for the 1st time in 6 years!

I was there too…Did you hear the english HOD recommending the pencil grip thing? Never knew there was such a thing. Wondering whether to get it or not.
