        It really depends.

My friend who arrived at 8 am when it started, only needed 5 min.

I went in the afternoon, reached the school closed to 2.45pm. There were already several in the queue. Although there were 2 stations doing the check for this first round; it took quite a while..

all in all, we spent slightly more than 1 hr.

can I check, how long is the registration process likely to be? 10-15mins? My stupid hubby away and back tonight only, and he insisted on going together with me, but he got a meeting tomorrow morning. So I want to be sure we don't miss the registration, or I will SKIN him alive hehehhe....

hw does this need for balloting come about... :?

say the sch has only 88 vacancies for P2C, and already 96 applicants yest..

so let's say the total applicants for all 3 days is 120, so does this mean only the last 32 applicants has got to ballot OR all 120 applicants got to ballot, giving priority to those living within 1km from the sch... :scratchhead:

Taking your senario... total 120 applicants vs 88 vacancies.

            80 stay < 1km (all get in)
            20 stay 1 - 2km (ballot for the 8 remaining vacancies)
            20 > 2km (no chance)

            etc...

            Priority given to distances.

If >88 applications living withing <1km, it will be ballot for ONLY those within 1km. If not, all those in 1km gets in and they will see how many left overs for the next distance grp (1km-2km). If there are still remainings, it will go to beyond 2km (ballot if still more applications vs vacancies).

it depends on how many people are ahead of you when you reached there.

you can go without your DH, just bring along his NRIC.

so means 32 applicants will hv to go for P2C supp?

All 120 will ballot for the 88 vacancies. The unsuccessful will go to P2C sub.

All 120 will go for balloting as they all fall within 1km. Those who are unsuccessful will have to go to another school for Phase 2C Supplementary.
