This year DD1 and DS might not be able to attend year end concert / graduation because DD1’s P1 orientation clashed with Kindy’s concert/graudation. Same date and same timing, so no way to attend both.
DD1 will be "assessed" on first day to group into her P1 class, so she will have to attend P1 orientation.
Will have to work out with the kindy to take her gradutaion pic and maybe have a mini graduation in kindy earlier. See how… -
Oh… so yours will have a test done on the Orientation Day…

Mine confirm won't clash..
DH was a bit disappointed that he will not be able to see them perform on stage. But the kindy P mentioned there still might be hope. So will wait for the note to mentioned the confirmed date and time.
If not I will have to arrange to take them out of school during rehearsal. No point getting them all excited and then cannot perform. -

From what I heard, there are some activities for them and this will more or less determine how they group the kids for each class.

If the school random group the kids without any activities then the school does not perform any form of assessment on them.
I'm trying to confirm with the school. If the school does not base on the activities to group the kids, then I might still consider to let my DD1 and DS attend their concert. -

If no heart to ballot, then Plan B. You can always put your child's name on waiting list, if you really like NYPS
