Poppy, if you need to know #s of applicants within 1km or if within 1km need to ballot, call the school to find out. They usually have updated numbers.

Some school admin staff very unhelpful over the phone so be prepared to go down if u really need to find out. I called a school on the 2nd day of 2B and told that I am eligible under 2B n was interested to find out how many have applied. The admin staff told me to check moe website after it was updated, ie after 2B closed :roll:

Actually, I think the school admin should help out as parents may need to plan for alternatives should they not even have chance. Tell them you need to know so as to plan your strategy should you need to ballot. As what some of my frens did, they will go on last day afternoon to submit and then loiter around the school to find out the final numbers.

Can anyone enlighten me? I am gonna try chij olqp tmr but am living out of 2km so may not even have a chance! If so I will have to go bukit timah pri under 2c supp. If I want to be on the wait list for MGS or chij olqp, how do I go about it? Do I do it only during the registration phases and times or I can do it any time?

i am very happy with CHIJ TPY's admin team and teachers... the discipline is amazing!

IJ TPY latest news: 48 seats available… as of today, 51 applied and are within 1km.

I see from other thread that 93 of them are less than 1km so u must have a back up plan. From the pass history, balloting is required with 1km.

Thanks for info! I've a place in Bukit Panjang Pri but requires son to take sch bus from caregiver's house. Was trying to see if I could get a place nearer to caregiver's house which doesn't require him to take a bus. Looking at the situation, I think I'll stay put n Bukit Panjang. :boogie:

If you are more than 2KM from CHIJ then in that case you can straight away go to Bukit Timah in 2C....
for waitlist it can be anytime.
