While reading Ria Tan's 'Wild Shores of Singapore\" blog, she made an interesting post on the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research fund raising effort to hopefully raise $12million by 31 July 2011 to bring three diplodocid (long -necked, long-tailed) dinosaurs to Singapore, where they will take pride of place in the new natural history museum at the National University of Singapore.

Just wondering whether mummies and daddies here will be excited to bring their kids to see the dinosaurs if they ever manage to become residents here!

'Apollo', one of the three dinosaurs.

This is a very nice blog on dinosaur exhibitions that have been held in Singapore.

                    Exciting news ~ šŸ™‚

will definitely want to go and see them. somehow many young boys seem to have a special fascination for dinos.. i can still remember lots of dino names from ds' picture books from years ago..

hope the entrance fees won't be too high. right now the Raffles museum of biodiversity research is still free entry but the new natural history museum probably won't be..
