Heard from neighbour teck ghee do have more homework than anderson at lower primary but not sure if they have better results though.


However, when a school is popular there must be a cause or reason, why parents want to send their kids there…or continue to send their kids’ siblings there. Anderson has her strengths. Also, believe that Anderson is a up and coming school, academic and otherwise.

In fact first or second day of primary one, they already do some unofficial testing and banding for their mother tongue and go into different classes for their MT.

i registered my girl in Anderson too but mainly cos its the nearest to my home. If this fails, will register her in teck ghee… can anyone advise how does it work, if i register my girl in Phase 2CS and if it requires balloting and say not successful what do we do?

You can request MOE to post your child to a school which still has vacancies after Phase 2C Supplementary or you can register your child at a school which still has vacancies at Phase 3.

Parents who are balloted out at Phase 2C Supplementary will be asked by the school to indicate 3 schools of their choice (in order of preference) with vacancies, on the \"Choice of Schools for Manual Posting\" Form. This form and the application form will be forwarded by the school to MOE for system posting.

Was jus wondering for Phase 2CS, if say i register at Teck Ghee on the 1st day and thereafter i realise that there are too many applicants… can i withdraw my application and put in my application on the 2nd day of Phase 2CS in another school?

Yes, I believe you can do so.

Yes, it can be done so for the withdrawal. But it need to submit withdrawal form first in the school and then re-register in another school.

Since TG this year is so limited with vacanies, it might face the ballot in 2CS.

Hi monster mummy, ya thats wat i am afraid of… don’t think i can go thru another round of balloting… frankly i do have some regrets… i do wish in a way, if i had just register my girl in TG earlier in P2C, then i don’t have to think so much already… but then Anderson is so near to my place… really feel wasted if i don’t at least give it a try.
