      ectanz:
Hi, I hv just became SAHM for about 2 mth to care for my dd2 who is 8 mth old. My dd1 is in K2 this yr. Been 6 yrs gap is a great challenge for me to take care of a baby without any helper. Trying very hard to adapt to a new chapter of my life since I hv been working for almost 20yrs.

I really salute those mummies hv more than 2 kids. Lots of relatives esp PIL suggested I shld try for son since I hv 2 girls but I don't think this will happen.
      ectanz,

well done you doing good......with your gals... :ugogirl: :peekaboo:

I've 2 girls too. Whenever my mum said I should try for a boy, I will throw this question at her, 'you want to help to babysit?' That's the moment she will cringe and quickly change topic. Worked all the times πŸ˜†

My mil didn't even suggest at all. Because she opted to help babysit bil's kids so she dare not suggest to me to have another. She already forsee my question :rotflmao:

Ha ha. Dun need 2 girls for that question. I have 1boy 1girl but MIL think not enough, must give her more grandsons. Initially when my mom still helped half the time, MIL would pester. Later, when MIL 90%, kept quiet....until sometime back, say 3 is better. Stared hard at her & asked \"at ~40yo??? U want to take care???\"

My killer sentences \"I gave u 2 grandchild Liao, get the rest from your other sons. Alternatively, DH can go get outside woman (but of course, this was calculated risk, knew she does not approve\". πŸ˜‰

My mom on the hand didn't suggest this as she understands the hardship of going thru this without any helper. She can't help me much due to her age as well as health issue. However, my MIL n her relatives will keep pestering Me to try for a son whenever there is a chance. Since she is my MIL, I dare not to answer inappropriate manner but leave it to my hb or juz avoid this topic. My MIL will b mad if I talked back to her.

Fortunately I am not staying with her but pity my SIL as she has to face this issue of having another baby everyday.

I agreed. However, most ppl think juz nice 2 hv 1 boy n 1 girl. This is perfect combination. My question is for those having 2 boys or 2 girls, what if the 3rd one is the same gender, r u going 2 try again? I hv a ex schoolmate, she has 9 older bros. I salute her mom 4 her strong determination. I think nobody can defeat or challenge her. :udawoman:

I have 2 kids, both in primary school. Literally tearing my hair everyday coaching them in their work...the roots of my hair is turning white 😒 and I'm not even 40...nagging at them to get work done, learn spelling etc etc. If my parents do not help me with the meals, I think I will run away.
