Does somebody sent their kids to Quality kids student care? Any feedback? Can somebody recommend gud student care?

I would suggest you don't send your kids to Quality Kids. The owner, a lady, has a good record of asking children to leave the centre as and when she likes. Reasons could be kids are active, need more attention or probably the kids got complain from those kids whom she likes. She practise favourtism alot. I have gathered feedback from other parents. You may consider the Yes development. My children are there and I feel that the centre teachers are quite caring.

Oh my gosh :yikes: ... Lucky me!

My DS always has attention problem. Likes daydreaming.... Cannot focus much... Afraid she will ask my DS to leave also.... 😢

Why she can anyhow dismiss d kids... From d phone, she looks very caring & nice lady. I like this centre, cause she told me dat she will make sure my DS will do d homework. She encourages me to let my DS rest at home & do more bonding. She will provide free tuition also. Also partly, they engage kuo chuan bus to bring d kids to school.

For Yes, I went there. D teacher is nice, but they only accompany d kids to d bus stop near NTUC & let them take public transport. I don't feel secure... They r so young but they hav to take public transport by themselves.

Do u hav same dilemma previously bef deciding to send ur kids to Yes?

Not easy finding student care :slapshead:

Buddy system in the school is very good. My younger child used to be very timid but she adapt quite well in the new environment. We took a day leave on the first day and cancel our leave the next day as we think that the kid is adapting very well and the teachers are unable to handle the situation pretty well too.

From what Quality kidz has told you, it doesn't make any different from any other student care centre because my kids student care centre also ensure that they complete their homework. I gave my kids assignment books to do over there during their free time. The student care centre mark for them and explain to them too. During school holiday, they went for bowling and learn cooking at the centre.
As for school bus, my children take school bus to school. The centre teachers bring them to NTUC there and wait for Kuo Chuan School bus. Another different between the two is Quality Kidz packed food from outside and the kids share the food. At Yes, they get someone to do the cooking which I would prefer.

About the dilemma. In fact, as working parents, I would be very afraid to leave my children with a centre which can dismiss students as and when they like because it will create inconvenience to us and the kids will be badly affected such as their self-esteem etc, that is our personal view. So far, we have no problem with Yes. The centre takes care of the kids emotion very well. Also, my kids told me that the centre teach them good manners. When we went up to pick the kids, they are usually doing their work quietly as they have silent reading time. Very well managed!
