In terms of both academic and CCA

Think De La Sella.. might be in a better position...

      http://www.delasalle.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=67709

For the other 2 school, my feel is both are equally picking up.. in both areas..

Hi thks! Am comparing both academic & cca. Not sure if I m too idealist, looking at a more well rounded kind of sch...

I think Yew Tee is better than De La Salle and Unity if just looking at the academic results. For PSLE 2010, they have 20 students with >260 scores and 16.9% >250 scores.

Hi chwoo, where do I check the academic results for the schools? Any other have kids studying in the schools?

And I saw the balloting for Unity & Yew Tee Pri. I thot Yew Tee is a better school but Unity actually has more people vying for the plc?

Hi, all the schools presented the psle results in different ways. Yew Tee did show their results in the school's web site but u need to search for it. I even counted the no of top scorers shown in the banners outside the schools.
I think both unity and yew tee are similar in terms of popularity. Perhaps more residents are living closer to unity or they have other preference or the general perception that unity is better.....

for cckps, balloting is for 1-2km. all within 1km gets a place....

lucky for me. cckps is actually my backup should I opt for sv...

              Hi Sterrier,
I did the same thing as you 🙂 I'm staying just beside SV but decided not to gamble since my backup sch cckps was over-sunbscribed! I registered on the last day of registeration at 3plus ... If I did not get SV, can only go TW or Kranji coz I'm 1-2km away from Concord!

                  balloting is not fun …

                  DLS … 89 … i counted 30 PRs
my slip wasn’t picked until 63 others … by which time there were a lot of PRs already chosen in
there were 1 or 2 disappointed SG amongst the 7 "unlucky" ones …
can’t help but feel for them …

                  no offence to PRs …
                  but i still think 2 to 1 ballot slip isn’t fair …

all for now … very relieved

                      :congrats:

Balloting is purely by luck.. if most of the PR got it.. they sure are lucky..as they are only given 1 slip..

All my SG friends got in..

                      I am happy for them..
