I liked the space and facilities at Tara too but signed dd up at Blk 519 in the end. MMI. It's quite structured, parent-accompanied playgroup. But the classroom is smaller. Have you checked it out?

There is also Summer Montessori at Blk 674. I think the curriculum is very good too but will only let dd join when she is older cos that is drop-off and I think I'd prefer to attend with dd for the time being till she's older. :)[/quote]

          Hi,

I tot of MMI too coz I was just staying next to it but I read a lot of reviews and people were saying it's not gd... have you checked out the Summer Montessori .. hmmm maybe I would pop by to have a look.. any comments on startots at Blk 549?

            Hello!

            I am a newbie here. 🙂

I intend to enroll my boy to a good kindergarten near Toh Guan area (Jurong East).

            Can someone recommend me any?

I have heard of Pandan Calvary Kindergarten. Any ideas or feedbacks?

            Thanks in advance!

Hi! Good morning everyone! I’m new here. Anyone sent your child to Kanooka School? Any comments for that child care centre?

                  Hi wonders5,

I am staying at Blk 283.

I have heard of Pandan Calvary Kindergarten, which is not too far off.
But I am unsure if it’s good.

The nearest will be PCF Yuhua Kindergarten but I would prefer to send my boy to a ‘better’ school so he can learn more in a faster pace.

Which school are you referring at Bukit Timah area?

Hi, I stay in blk 280. true, I am also looking for \"better\" environment and good expoture to the kidz and so PCF is out.

There are a few in Bukit Timah area. Those I know off are Early Years Montessori and CS Montessori. I prefer Early Years as it is housed in a landed property and no aircon (thot less prone to illness) I also liked their teaching method. CS doesn't hv an outside play area..

I want to try Montessori method for my son who will be in K1 next yr.

I attend the playgroup, so far ok. But I sit in, so I can control to a certain extent, and I can follow up at home with dd too. It's the only Montessori around here that has parent-accompanied playgroup, that's why I chose it. 🙂

Yes, I have visited Summer Monte, like it, so will send dd there next yr. For now, cos she's still young, I think I'd like to sit in with her so I can learn more about the Monte materials and how to use them too.

Not sure about startots, so can't comment there. Sorry!

We used to stay at Toh Guan too. Try Jurong Calvary Kindergarten. My dd is currently attending K2 and loves it there. Very popular. School bus transport is S$100 monthly, before the PTC 1% increase announcement.
