I have 4 webcams at home - living room, kitchen, DS's brm my brm. Good deterent and I leave no chance for maid to do funny biz while my DH and I are out at work.

does your maid have a day off every week? just curious

No. But we are usually out all day Saturday and Sunday to give her space (& we need that family space too). Notwithstanding she gets her holiday whenever our family is away on overseas vacation few times in a year. We leave the whole place to herself and let her go out but she must call us after she comes home (报平安）and absolutely no private party at my home. She's happy with this arrangement and she knows we would do random check on webcam from our handphone or internet anyway. In this way, I can be away at ease and she keeps her work-life sanity in check
