Congrats to those parents who are successful in the P2C balloting! For those who are not, wish you all the best in P2CS.
We're glad our son got a place in HPS. Phew! :rahrah: .....the process was horrible....real bad for heart

OMG!!! For the rest of the day, nothing else matter.....even went thru the ERP gantry forgetting to insert my cashcard :slapshead: bcoz busy relaying the good news to relatives and friends....lol
Yesterday morning was the longest period of my life......still feeling scary when i recall now...:( -

To: why like tat...
I total get what you were saying! I felt that way too!
My ballot number was called after the balloting went pass the half-way mark, and at that point, I was already feeling down and out, and secretly planning what to do for phase 2CS, and suddenly, my number was called!!!! The feeling was so hard to describe, it was a mixture of happiness, gratitude, relief, blessed etc etc etc ... I was holding my hubby's hand all throughout the ballot session and our hands were trembling.... but after our ballot number was called, our hands continued to tremble because we were so overjoyed... we did not know what numbers were called after ours, cos everything was a blur after that. I had a super-high feeling the whole day.
:congrats: to you and your kiddo... so happy for you! -

Yk1523, Same here. Am looking for before/after school care facilities near HIPS. although we stay very near, but my mil n maid can't control my kids n they will def laze n watch tv the whole morning.
Maybe we need to ask the existing parents of HIPS at the HIPS parent network thread about their reviews? -
:thankyou: Ririan & galleria and :congrats: to yk1523!
i'm also on a lookout for a before school care since P1 in HPS will be in afternoon shift. However....that's the back-up plan.
Priority now is to convince my boss to allow me to work from home in the morning and go into office in the afternoon so that i can look after and guide my boy . My wife doing the same too so that we can rotate alternate mornings.....praying hard
this is the beginning of a very long journey....... -

I agreed, now after the registration saga over, comes the logistic matters, like sourcing a good before n after student care or make arrangements in sending n fetching the kid.... Then comes the stress of schoolwork n project... It definitely a long long journey...
Hopefully our kids can be classmates....
