        Hi 24hr Mum,

Wow! Its very head scratching to look for the right centre. I fully agree with you. If my children is obedient, I will be able to teach. I have come to realised that teaching my own kids is extremely time inefficient. Not that I am stupid or poor in Math, but I spend half the time managing my DS and DD cheeky nonsenses.

I think different centre had it strength and is suitable for different needs. Of the three that you have tried, MPM, Enopi and JEI, which one is more relevant to MOE? 😂 I'm a very practical mummy

i would recommend JEI cos each bklet is very intense, relevant. mpm and enopi is relatively elementary. esp for mpm, tho it supp to stimulate thinking but i cant see the direct relevance, so its more of an enrichment thing. if u want structured type, go for enopi or jei but i prefer jei cos more enriching content whereas enopi is more simple i would say. all three are colored workbks, small class ratio, own pace, only difference is mpm is spiral (ie mix all topics together ) while jei and enopi is hierarchical, ie topics are distinct but jei more flexi, u can choose n pick the topic acc to child’s needs while for enopi they insist must eg finish addition (1 digit, 2 digit, 3 digit, etc then can do subtraction, then multiplication.) if u teach the child at home, sch teach some, then to follow enopi strict sequence is not wise, to me. u go compare all three centre wkbooks and u will know what i mean,

by the way no offence to mpm or enopi lovers. the comparison is just my own judgement.

i tried from last year aug to this year feb. effective in terms of kickstarting the child’s maths skill and instilling a mental number line. but i stop later cos kept repeating the bklet and found JEI more enriching in content

Anyone tried enopi at roxy square? I went over for a look but can’t tell much. Actually I am looking for a right brain training like shichida but around katong/marine parade area.
