      Hi parents!

I'd like to ask those of you with intention or have already placed your kids in SOTA: when did you first noticed/discover your child's inclination towards the arts?

My DD is 5 now. Of ballet, piano, arts and craft lessons, she seems to enjoy making/creating things from paper and stuff. She likes working with scissors, scotch tape, etc more than simply drawing. She enjoys making handbags for us, microphones, buildings, etc...I am not sure if this is a passing phase for her.

      Please share. Thanks

      Hi Carmen

Hv a receive co from sota? I think my DD did not make it n waiting for the rejection letter.

My DD is 12 now. When she was about your DD's age, she love to draw, make BD cards, gifts and even sorry card when she make me angry 😂 .
But now she have lost interest and stop doing those things. She only do it when it's for school work and she will just do it in the fastest and simple way. However, her passion for ballet is still very strong since she started in K2. :boogie:

Hi Maisu. Today haven't open letter box yet. How do you know that you dd cannot make it? You just guess or you confirm with SOTA? Don't give up yet until you received the letter. :xedfingers:

My dd got the CO, but she has to study real hard to cross that PSLE hurdle.

My DD never get in. We are really disappointed but come to think of it, my dd's ballet skills may not be up to standard after all. So have to work really work to get to another better school. Sad is, she don't even qualify to be on waiting list. :frustrated:

Maybe you should call them to check tomorrow to clear your doubt.

My daughter is also unsuccessful for Music - piano. I am kind of dissapointed but I guess all is not lost. The focus now is to do well in PSLE and get her into a good secondary school. There’s no turning back for piano (which she picked up recently for this audition) and we will support her all the way, as far as she is willing to go. 🙂

Your dd picked up piano just for this audition? She must be pretty good.
