I heard some teachers in cc are doing freelance, hence I think they are equally good. Does Rosalind Ong teach at Dance station too? I supposed if she does, it will be for older grades?
twilight:
I've been taking lessons in CC, though this year I've started out with Dance Arts. To me, there's been not much difference of class in CC as those in a proper dance school (Dance Arts in my case).
I'm not sure about those three dance studios, but there are some things I've heard from my friends about them. Definitely, SBA does groom a lot of good dancers, and of those performance I've watched, I think their dancers are indeed well trained. But of course, in the first place, they would only send those better dancers for performances. According to my friend though, she said SBA is overrated, in the sense that it's not leagues and miles above other dance schools. Not sure how true it is, since I personally have not been to SBA. But the teachers they employ in SBA are indeed some of the best.
Not heard much about Attitude nor Dance Station, but I know that Attitude is quite a popular place for adult ballet. My dance teacher in the CC previously taught at Dance Station, and I find she's quite good, so the quality of teachers in Dance Station shouldn't be that bad. But Ms Rosalind Ong, the principal of Dance Station, is a very very good dancer and teacher. -

When I was there on a Sat just for a look see look see, Ms Ong was teaching the students who looked quite young. According to the receptionist, Ms Ong takes turns to teach with the other teacher on Sat because it's a full day of lessons. On Sun, it's usually the other teachers. Not sure about the weekday lessons. -
Do u know the name of the other teacher? Is it the same teacher teaching your DD? I heard there's only 1 studio?

No personal experience with Sylvia McCully, but I hear that she's quite well known and experienced in the dance circle.
I heard the same. That's why that school doesn't have a website, as it relies on word of mouth to get students.i3mum:

Is Sylvia McCully still teaching? I don't think so because she was around when I was learning ballet a LONG TIME ago.
