Popular does bring in all the assessment books to Expo...but I would prefer to go to the stores now instead...Expo is too far and parking there is expensive.
Just to check, from your experiece, do Popular bring in all their assessment publications during expo sale? Last yr, my focus was not on assessment books, so I did not pay attention to this section. Thanks.janet_lee88:
There might be a Popular expo sale during the 1 week holidays...or else you may have to wait till year end (BookFest in Dec) at Suntec.
I'm hopping Popular will conduct the sale at their branches as well during their expo sale. If at Expo, it will be too far for me

My DD is going P1 next year, I m thinking whether to cut down the enrichment classes. May i know what are the enrichment classes that you will sign up or remain?
It depends on your rationale for the enrichment classes.
From kindy, I only sign my kids up on the core, so these will stay with them. These are academic based. They only have 2 non-academic ones, which will stay as well. This is because for the non-academic ones, one is long term investment, the other is till P1/P2 purpose.
My focus is on academics and 1/2 non-academic. -

What classes is your dd attending now?
Mine is continuing with her arts & music classes. She has been taking these 2 classes since K1 & enjoys them so definitely continuing.
Added English enrichment & speech & drama in the beginning of P1 and Chinese creative writing last month. -

Hi, just curious, what are those non academic classes? -
Actually there's quite a lot, she is attending English, Maths, chinese for the academic ones. Non academic are art, ballet, swimming & piano. I m in a dilemma on which one to give up. she seems to enjoy all the classes.

Already withdrawn her from Nafa music. Too time consuming. Now taking lessons with a private teacher. She's still taking arts in Nafa although my dd1 complained about dd2 having no talent in arts, her art work is so sloppy :rotflmao:Hi sleepy,

All my DDs are in NAFA art too, they like it a lot too hence I really do not know where to cut down. Do you think it is worth to continue or the art lesson in school is sufficient?
I heard NAFA music is very stressful, do 2 grades in a year, which I think I can't cope to go through with my gal hehe mine is taking from pte teacher too.sleepy:
