Hi! Thanks for setting this up. My son is going to primary one in 2010. I stay very near the school so the main consideration was travelling distance as it's much easier for us to bring him to school. Hope to connect with other parents whose children are in Fuhua.

My son is going to primary one in 2010 too. We're staying in Teban and this is the nearest school for us and thus the reason why we are sending him here. Hope to share more once the academic year statrs

Btw, if i remembered correctly, orientation will be in Nov 2009 right??

The school said that they will be sending a letter with more info on the orientation. Still have not receive mine.

My Eldest will be Primary 1 in 2012 & I live 5mins fr Fuhua Primary. So, naturally Fuhua shld me my 1st choice coz we’re less than 1 km away.

But my concern is, is it a good school? I know the top PSLE 2010 result is 269, but seems like most parents prefers Jurong Primary & Rulang. So, there’s surely something wrong with Fuhua, then, right? Or The other 2 schools are just much much better overall?

What about Clementi Primary School? Any feedback about the school? As I used to study in Clementi Town Primary, they say I can be included under Phace 2A. But will it be better to register my child in Clementi or Fuhua.

Of course, I would prefer to enrol my child in Rulang instead. But I’m 3kms away from the school. I dont even know my chances.

I’m so confused now… Pls advise.

No doubt it, Fuhua Primary School is a good school. I have two children in there. But in certains area, maybe not good enough for example: PSLE RESULT. They have some very good teachers, who works hard to help your children to excel well in academic or CCA. :rahrah:

Thank you McLaren. Pleased to inform that my eldest girl will be going to Fuhua Primary next year.

I hear that its good for parents to join parent-support. But why? I thought its only if parents want to have their children placed in that school when they need to do parent support activities?

For Parent support Group, not bad to join in if you have a free time. But for secondary school, its a good idea and good connection to your children activity in school, advised from principal of Shuqun Secondary School.

Every school is a good school. For me, the most important is comunication between school teacher and parents. Top student from Rulang Primary School was former P5 student from Fuhua. She was tranferred to there in P5 term 4 or P6.

Aaah.. That's certainly good information. I hope my daughter will grow and blossom beautifully in Fuhua too.
