my hands are tied up coaching her in grammar, vocab, comprehension and synthesis as it is...now with COMPO :faint:

Perhpas you can consider sending her to classes then reinforce at home. I find this arrangement more manageable.

I'm coaching 3 subjects while dh coaches 1 subject on adhoc basis. However, I feel that I can't cope with Science (too many things to cover) and English (my English quite poor le).

She is already attending remedial lessons in school. Sending her for more classes will be a bit tiring for a P1. I'm going to set up a time-table to do different stuff everyday...what I'm doing now is reinforcing what has been taught.

I'm guilty that I'm still buying  but for P2...my son has enough to last him till end of his PSLE...I think can even lelong after that.

For my daughter, I'm combing through the sections in CL assessment very carefully now...bcos there is no CA/SA, different schools set their own formats to test the kids. There is no 'perfect' CL assessment where I can just pick up for my daughter to revise. A lot of times, I can open up 3-4 diff titles just to attempt 1 page :faint:

I have the Learning Science for P1 and 2...still clean and fresh sitting on the shelf to 'open ceremony' after this Aug summative assessment.

                  Hi Janet,

The book of sentences by Cathy Lee, is not for P1/P2. this book belongs to the age group of 5-6 ie K1,K2... Your girl is moving to P2 next yr right?

                  Hi! Plum-cake,
so happy to see you online! :snuggles: :hugs:

I am using the above book with DD2 (now K2) to start her off with terms like noun, verb, etc...she is interested to learn and I am glad to get a copy of this book thru your recommendation previously in the P1/P2 EL thread. :celebrate:

                      Hi plum-cake,
I saw that book at IMM...don't know why their computer system didn't capture the title. It's not appropriate for my gal.
Saw this 'Picture Composition' by Terry Bell. Was quite tempted to get but didn't know to get the P1 or P2 book.
