: :?How to wash dirty white school uniform clean. I have tried soaking the uniform into washing detergent and bleaching solution but it did not work well. Do you scrub the dirty collar and pants? For me, I simply throw them into the washing machine after soaking. But when ironing the uniform, I realised that the stains are still there. :frustrated:

      Thank you very much.

have you tried baking soda? Just mix some water to baking soda and stir into a paste. spread over the stains and let it sit for an hr or so before u throw into the washing machine.

Help! how to get rid of rice bugs! I are in my flour, pasta, rice! everywhere in the kitchen! :?:

Put garlic in the rice, esp near the top of the container.. a friend taught me this and it works.. for pasta and flour, I put them in tupperware, and put the garlic in the tupperware.

jedamum, u mean in the fridge or open, dry area?

i tried both, but mould grew in a few days.
always buy one pack but only get to use a few cos i don't cook everyday. 😓
maybe i should cut them and soak in soya sauce like in hawker centre?

to preserve the chilli padi, i usually wash it and air dry them before storing it in a air tight container… so far so good for me…

                        *No More Mosquitoes*
Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away.

                        *Get Rid of Ants*
Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it \"home,\" & can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains, but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!

                        What is a dryer sheet?

for the cornmeal tip.. any1 tried?
