I’d advise you to send him/her to Abacus class for the start.

That will improve the mathematics tremendously.

As for the rest, I believe you can coach him/her for the time being.
P1 subjects are really not that difficult.

Hi, do you mean your gal is currently studying in other P2 class of rulang and will be transferred to 2L next term?

Sorry, my kiddo is only at P1 now…
But I’ve checked with the form teacher and she said all P1 will stay as it is even in P2. They will only split when they move to P3.

Yesterday my son came home and then casually said, teacher asked us to do up a toy robot. Submit by Monday.

                  My jaw nearly dropped…
So you tell me, who are the stressful ones?

One of Rulang's robotic team was last year NJRC (National Junior Robotic Compeition) primary school category champion. Its good if you can encourage your child to have more interest in robotics since Rulang is good in it. 😄

This year NJRC is starting this week and last till next week. Final on 12th Sept, is open to public at Science Center.

Today my kiddo said the school conducted a test called \"MOE\" test...

60 questions in 30 mins, all logic questions, on puzzles, lines, etc.

Strange....didn't know P1 has such test...

Anyone know what is that for?
                      Hi Parents,

This \"test\" that your kids mention about is not really a test but it is a tool for MOE to know the profile of the kids that each sch have. Not to worry the results drawn from this \"test\" does not effect or brand your child in any way.
If you are wondering how i know is because i work in such an environment and the results are highly confidential and will not be shared with anybody.
However along the way if MOE picks up kids with learning difficulty eg: atuism, ADHD, the sch will be informed.

After further talking to my kiddo yesterday, then he revealed that actually if you can't submit the robot on Monday, it's ok. It is not a compulsory work....
                        :!: :stupid:
