Got a piece of news from a reliable source that over the last few years, Teck Ghee Results surpass Anderson. I heard that Teck Ghee motivate the children to work very hard and give them lots of work to do. The teachers are given the time to help the children and they are also very driven. I think that is Teck Ghee winning formula. One good thing about this school is the lack of publicity efforts and that means no balloting for all the past years. I think it spends all its efforts on education and not on marketing.

Last year Teck ghee psle highest was 271, Anderson was 272. yup, teck ghee does give alot of work to the students. They are trying very hard to do well and be successful, I believe.

Anderson does not focus on marketing actually. Just that parents choose to go there.

Guess one reason could be because they have a IMAS program which might help to aim towards DSA. Also, they are like SAP school - Higher Mother Tongue. Some parents prefer HMT. Anderson tends to focus on other areas of development.

Some schools actually kids do homework till 12am and still canโ€™t finish; parents have to help them do it. Lots and Lots of homework even at P1.

Many are competitive and has to be that way to be successful. Ultimately if school produce Top PSLE, they will be known.

There are 15 applicants for the 13 seats available at Teck Ghee for Phase2C supp as at yesterday so I guess will have to ballot for this phase. Teck Ghee current P is ex Anderson's P right?

I think Anderson is popular also because it's the nearest sch for those staying at private housing such as Castle Green, Bullion Park and those landed properties along Lentor rd.
