      janet, can you please share roughly how much did you spend for P1? thank you!

      Her textbooks/workbooks are about $118. Can't remember how much her PE top/shorts as well as pinafore/blouses cost. But the school socks costs $3.50 for each pair...quality of socks are good & thick, also has good ankle support.

        I hv boUght mine from HK last mth.
        Project at hand now is to do up shelves and study table for her and the many assessment books. Kekeke

          Don't buy too many assessment books...but I can tell you it's easier said than done :rotflmao: My daughter has the pink SPI active...she said she should have bought the blue instead - to match her pinafore.

              Thank u Janet!! My boss is giving me her daughters uniform frm IJ katong convent... She even unpinned the badge for me. Hope it's the same so that I can save $$. As for the textbooks, stellar programme for eng no textbook right? I think the cost is so high for everything...

                  Hi all, just another kiasu qn… Where will u be buying the sch ahoes frm? I know of a colleague who bought 2 pairs of sch shoes for her girl. Is it necessary? Aldo I was thinking of buying white plain Jane shoes. Or will Velcro shoes be better?

                      Ya I know what u mean. I work v near bras brash so of late, I hv been browsing the assessment books. So many choices. Must be a lucrative market for publishers. I hope she eases well into p1 but I also don’t want to hot house her too much. I just hope that whatever prep I give her, it will be sufficient without being too overwhelming nor stifling.

                      What abt other mummies? What do u do to prep Ur girls?
