Montfort Junior

Looking at the way things are, it doesn’t seem like there will be any difficulty getting one’s son into MJS. I think bullying can happen anywhere, and all schools have it to some extent. I too felt the boys at MJS were well behaved, boisterous, but nothing out of the ordinary for this age. A couple of them were running straight towards me when I visited the school, but as soon as they neared me, they slowed down, and I even heard one say ‘careful don’t knock the aunty’. So despite its lowly rankings, I think these boys do have some moral value in them. I for one will be looking to put my son into MJS next year. No balloting, no kiasuism, and I think the education will be as good, since the primary school syllabus is all the same anyway - it comes down to the calibre of the child and how much input you have as a parent.

hi e3nity - can share with me which student care is tat??...your neighbour's kids are in which level of MJS...so are u going to register your son in MJS???tootsieroll:
E3nity: I'd say yes, judging from the fact that it still had spaces in Phase 3 (certainly the past few years!)......what makes you interested in applying for Montfort?
Hi tootsieroll, that will be my final option if i don't get my child in the school i wish he can enter. Moreover i know of student care near the school which is good. My neighbours kids are in Montfort. from their feedback about montfort, the teacher and the school's discipline are strict and systematic. I think my son needs a sch with clear boundaries.. so Montfort is my other option.
