My boy was shortlisted for Phase 2 of NJC DSA.
May I know what do the kids need to do during the day camp activity ?
What about the interview part ?
Do all need to attend the interview ?
What sort of questions will be asked ?

May I ask when your son got the reply? My son (from mainstream) applied for NJC but did not receive any email regarding the camp yet. So no hope already?

I called NJC previously and they said results will be posted between 15th to 17th Aug but they released it earlier on 12/8.
Since they said about the 3 days time frame check your email again tomorrow and Monday.
Make sure you check they correct email account too in case you used your son's email account and forgotten about it.

Day camp - just do whatever they ask - participate and share.
Interview - prepare to talk about yourself

Hi, any seniors here can give guidance on what sort of activity you have been thru previously? My DD also shortlisted and we only applied for this 1 and only 1 school for DSA, thus need a lot of input from parents/students who have gone thru the process....

Is it outdoor kind of activity or classroom style?
Is outdoor, is it like those obstacles huddles that the child will be put thru? Really curious what is installed, NJC seniors, appreciate your input & guidance here..... Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the well wishes. Just a thought, did you check your spam folder as well? My friend found the NJC email in her spam folder for the 1st round. Otherwise, maybe you can check with NJC admin on Monday if they have sent out all the emails. All the best to your son too!

Just called NJC. They said they have sent out all emails for shortlisted candidates. If didn't receive anything, means not shortlisted I'm just curious, any idea if GEPers are given priority over the mainstream pupils during the selection procedure?
